MRS. ISABELLE VAN BOGART PASSES

Isabelle Van Bogart passed away, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Jones, 621 Broad street, Wednesday, April 25, at 11:40 a.m. at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 1 day.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. George Blagg were held from the home this afternoon with burial in Hazelwood.

Isabelle Breese was born at Forest Home near Montezuma, Iowa, Dec. 24, 1853 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Jones 621 Broad St. Grinnell, April 25, 1928 at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 1 day.

In the year 1876 she was united in marriage with Orlando Van Bogart, who preceded her in death in 1892. Six children were born to them, all of whom are living to mourn her decease, Frank of Danville, Ill., Lon, Harry, Louie and Mrs. Will Jones of Grinnell and Mrs. C.F. Todd of Newton, Iowa. There are also ten grandchildren, to whom she was devoted. The past year her health has been failing and on Tuesday evening about eight o'clock she had a hemorrhage of the brain from which she did not regain consciousness, passing away about noon on Wednesday. She has always been a loving, faithful mother and a helpful, kind neighbor. Mrs. Van Bogart was ever ready to give aid in case of sickness or trouble when called upon. The family have the sympathy of the whole commmunity in the loss of their dear mother. Funeral services was held this afternoon at the home, 621 Broad St., conducted by the Rev. George Blagg. Burial was made in Hazelwood.
