HARRY BOGART, 69 DIES WEDNESDAY; FUNERAL SATURDAY

Funeral services for Harry B. Bogart, 69, who died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital following a brief illness, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday from the Smith Funeral Home with Dr. G.S. Bruland of the Methodist church officiating.

Organ selections will be furnished by Mrs. Kathleen Heffner and pallbearers will be Bryan Beaderstadt, Bob Downer, Virgil Jones, Fred Schmidt, Max Todd, and Gerald Wang. Interment will be at Hazelwood cemetery.

Mr. Bogart had been making his residence at the home of a sister, Mrs. Maude Jones of 1011 Summer Street.

He was born on November 24th, 1888 at Grinnell, the son of Alonzo Von and Isabelle Breese Bogart and attended the local public schools and Grinnell high school. Later in life, he was employed at the Mental Health Center in Mount Pleasant as a male nurse.

Mr. Bogart attended the Methodist church and was a member of the Grinnell Eagles Lodge No. 2545.

Surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Frank of Danville, Ill., Louis of Grinnell, and Mrs. Maude Jones and Mrs. Pearl Todd, also both of Grinnell. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
