RUDOLPH RENFROW SERVICES HELD

Rudolph B. Renfrow, 64, of South Norwalk, Conn., died Thursday, April 27 at his home. He was born in Red Wing, Minn., June 10, 1907, the son of Lee Augustus and Eva Pearl Craig Renfrow. Later the family moved to Grinnell and lived on First Avenue for many years.

Mr. Renfrow attended the Grinnell schools and graduated from Grinnell High School. He later graduated from Hampton Institute, Hampton, Va.; and taught school in Petersburg, Va. For the past 40 years he has been associated with Investor's Diversified Syndicate and was the New York Sales representative. He had made his home in South Norwalk, Conn., for the past 22 years and was a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Renfrow is survived by his wife, Evelyn, and one son, Lee J. Renfrow of Vancouver, B.C., Can. Also surviving are his three sisters and one brother; Mrs. Henry (Edith) Smith of Chicago; Mrs. Carl (Evanel) Terrell of Savannah, Ga.; Miss Alice Lee Renfrow of Washington and Paul James Renfrow, of Washington, D.C.; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in 1945; his mother in 1962; and his sister Helen Lemme.

Graveside services for Rudolph B. Renfrow were held 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, at Hazelwood Cemetery with Harry M. Reynolds, officiating. Pallbearers were Obie Criswell, George German, Arthur McDowell, Edward McNally, James McNally, and Steve White. Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
