LUDA LISK

Luda Lisk was born October 29th, 1871 at Forest Home, Iowa and died at Grinnell on November 15th, 1955.

A resident of Grinnell since 1895, Mrs. Lisk was united in marriage to Lon Lisk on October 17th, 1892. The couple made their home in Des Moines for two years prior to moving to Grinnell. Her husband preceded her in death in 1948.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Peggy) Sadler of Grinnell and three grandchildren, Debra, Everett Ray and Wayne Sadler. A son, Edward, a daughter, Mrs. Irene Thomas and eight brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services were conducted November 17th from James Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Skiles officiating. Organ selections were played during the rites.

Pallbearers were: Ben Reynolds, Keith Paul, John Sadler, Everett Sanger, Lester Hill and Myron Palmer.

Interment was at Hazelwood Cemetery.
