Glema Jones

GRINNELL, Iowa - Services for Glema M. Jones, 82, of Davenport, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home, Grinnell.  Burial will be in Jackson Township Cemetery, Montezuma.

Mrs. Jones died Tuesday at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport.

Glema Rivers married Alfred Jones in 1935 in Cambridge, Ill.  The couple made their home in the Quad-Cities for 27 years and in Davenport since 1989.

She had attended William Penn College, Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Jones was affiliated with Order of Eastern Star and enjoyed reading and crocheting as her hobbies.

Memorials may be made to Glema M. Jones Memorial Fund.

Survivors include her husband; daughters, Linda (Mrs. Jesse) Howerton, Davenport; Virginia (Mrs. Wayne) Stone, Blue Grass, Iowa; June (Mrs. Chuck) Lankford, Davenport; and Yvonne (Mrs. Don) Peterson, Atkinson, Ill.; a son, James, Metemora, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Edward Rivers, Riverview, Fla.
