GRACE JANE BEELER

Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Friends church at Blue Point, E.D. Perkham conducted the funeral service of Gracie Jane Beeler, daughter of C.V. and Edna Beeler.

Gracie was born Mar. 23rd, 1904 and died Oct. 19th, 1906, aged 2 years 6 mo. and 26 days. Little Gracie was the youngest of seven children, four sisters living, and two sisters and a brother having gone on before.

All the sunshine in the home seems to go with her, but we know that she is gone where all is bright. It was a common remark that she was the pet of the neighborhood, which was well attested by the large attendance at her funeral, nearly 300 neighbors and friends being present. The profusion of flowers about the little white casket, and the little grave decked with a gorgeous array of autumn leaves tell the story of love as best it can. We trust that as the bloom of our lives may fade into the autumn we may grow nearer to our loved one's abode. The hearts of those nearest to the flower that is lost are heavy, but they extend their sincere thanks to the sympathetic friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted them during their dark hours.
