MRS. BEELER SERVICES HELD

Gracie M. Beeler, 95, of Grinnell died Sunday morning at Friendship Manor.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Reaves, pastor of the Grinnell Assembly of God Church, officiating. Organist was Naomi Reaves, and vocalists were Glen and Florence Bell. Pallbearers were Ralph Biscontine, Warren Broders, Raymond Koger, Franklin Kline, Robert Teed and Darrell Wyss. Honorary beareres were Raymond Bangham, Tom Lowry, Gordon Roorda, James Sears, Louis Smith and Carl Tokle. Burial was at Hazelwood Cemetery.

A memorial has been established with the Grinnell Assembly of God Church.

The daughter of Austin and Nettie McCutchen Fleming, she was born March 4, 1886, near Peoria, Iowa. She attended rural school. On Dec. 30, 1908, she was married to L. Clarke Beeler in Grinnell. The coupled farmed in the Grinnell area.

Following her husband's death in 1952, Mrs. Beeler continued to make her home on the farm southeast of Grinnell. She moved to Friendship Manor in January 1981.

Survivors include her daughter, Winifred Kline of rural Grinnell; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Della Wood and Ada Foster; and an infant brother, Porter Fleming.
