Betty Marie Malloy of Montezuma died on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006 at Montezuma Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Montezuma.

Private family services were planned with burial in Jackson Township Cemetery, Montezuma.

Betty was born on Oct. 26, 1926, at Montezuma. She devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her four daughters, Cara Breese of Montezuma; Patricia Davis (Terry McBurney) of Cedar; Hettie Maschmann (Jim) of Mt. Pleasant; and Tina Wiegand (Kim) of Montezuma; her son, Dan Malloy (Beverly) of Montezuma, 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her four sisters and her two brothers.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Everett Freeborn, and her mother, Zephyr Lagolda Freeborn, her husband, Jack Malloy, on Jan. 24, 2000; a daughter, Jackie Griffith; three brothers and one sister.
