MAXINE M. HASLEY, 88

Maxine M. Hasley, 88, of Cox's Chapel, Va., passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006. Maxine was born Sept. 14, 1918, near Grinnell and moved to Virginia with her husband, Joe, in 1991.

Maxine is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Darlene Hasley of Cox's Chapel, Va., Norvel and Joani Hasley of Greensboro, Ga., daughter-in-law Billi Jo Hasley, Texarkana, Ark., brother-in-law Doyle Weaver of Grinnell; 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cox's Chapel Cemetery Fund c/o Dennis Cox, 1722 Riverbend Road, Mouth of Wilson, VA 24363.

Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home at 201 W. Center St., Galax, VA 24333 was in charge of the arrangements.
