ROBERT W. KOGER

Robert W. Koger, 86, of Everett, Wash., formerly of Grinnell, died Oct. 19, 2007, in Everett.

A graveside service was held Oct. 24 at Cypress Lawn in Everett. Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice of Snohomish County, 2731 Wetmore Ave., Suite 500, Everett, Wash. 98201.

He was born Sept. 27, 1921, in Grinnell and grew up on the family farm near Grinnell. He was a graduate of Grinnell High School. He was united in marriage with Dorothy Anderson of Kellogg on Dec. 21, 1941.

After moving to Washington, he fished commercially both in Alaska and Puget Sound until his retirement. He enjoyed golf, flying his planes and travel. Most of his winters were spent in Arizona.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Koger, 2204 12th St., Apt. 139, Everett, Wash. 98201; one daughter Dora of Everett and one son, Dennis of Anacortes, Wash.; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
