RITES FRIDAY FOR CAMIEL DHOOGE

Funeral rites will be conducted at St. Patrick's Catholic church, 10 a.m., Friday for Camiel J. Dhooge, 54, longtime Brooklyn area farmer who died Tuesday at his home.

Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Rev. John Kennedy will officiate at the rites and burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Brooklyn. Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at the Bramer Funeral Home.

A native of Belgium, Mr. Dhooge came, with his parents, to Victor when he was 1-1/2 years old. He was educated in the Victor schools and had farmed in the Brooklyn area since he graduated from school.

Survivors include his widow, Mary Ann; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Elizabeth) Tourville of Council Bluffs and Mrs. David (Mary Jean) Crook of Brooklyn; one son, Camiel Junior, in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Guam, but who will be home for the funeral; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Van Kerckvoorde of Brooklyn; and one sister in Belgium.

Pallbearers will be William Heitsman, August Van Renterghem, Ross Wylie, Max Ryan, Phil Eichhorn and Gary Brouwer of Montezuma.

Flower attendants will be Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Clarke Hall.
