PHILLIP LAMB SERVICES HELD

Phillip E. Lamb, 84, of Malcom died Friday, April 18, at Grinnell General Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Malcom, with the Rev. William G. Schlobohm, pastor of the Malcom-Sheridan Parish, officiating. Organist was Joan Schneekloth.

Pallbearers were Floyd White, Gerald Duncan, Claire Hutchison, Harvey Tindle, Henry Rohlfing and Sonny Schneekloth. Honorary bearers were Alfred Robey and Thomas Bowers. Burial was in Ivy Hill cemetery, Malcom, with the Watts Funeral Home of Montezuma in charge of arrangements.

The son of Edward and Martha Emery Lamb, he was born on Oct. 12, 1901, in Keokuk County. He was married to Izola Cullison near Malcom on Aug. 18, 1922. They farmed in Cherokee before moving to a farm north of Malcom in 1951. They retired and moved into Malcom in 1960.

Mr. Lamb was a member of the United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Izola.
