RITES SATURDAY FOR LEE CRAM

Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's church here Saturday for Lee Cram, 75, of Wilton Junction, former Brooklyn resident, who died Oct. 2 at a Davenport hospital.

Rev. Bernard Kamerick officiated at the 10 o'clock Mass. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Active casket bearers were grandsons--Jerome Wilcox, William Wilcox, Dennis Cram, Richard Cram, James Allgood and John Allgood. Jeffrey Cram, Phillip Cram and Eugene Cram, three other grandsons were honorary bearers.

Born near Deep River Dec. 25, 1892, Mr. Cram grew to manhood in Thornburg where he received his education and graduated in 1910.

On Sept. 16, 1914, he was married to Mamie Collum of Brooklyn at St. Patrick's Catholic church.

Mr. Cram was a custodian in the Brooklyn school system until his retirement in 1958. For the past five years he had made his home with a daughter in Wilton Junction.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1956. Survivors include six children: Mrs. William Wilcox and Robert Cram of Brooklyn, LaVaughn Cram of Grinnell, Raymond Cram and Mrs. Ivan Allgood of Wilton Junction, Delmar Cram of Humboldt; 28 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
