CLYDE HALL

Funeral services were held at the Bramer Funeral Home Friday afternoon, Jan. 12, for Clyde Hall, 75, a lifelong resident of Brooklyn who died Wednesday morning in a Grinnell hospital.

Rev. George Roquet of the Presbyterian church, Brooklyn, had charge and burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Casket bearers were Eldon Miller, Peter DeCorte, Leslie Ormiston, G.W. Manatt, Harry Hermanstorfer and William Lippincott.

Mr. Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. O.D. Hall, was born in Brooklyn and had spent his entire life in the Brooklyn area. He had farmed until moving to town in 1961. He and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1963.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, a son, Pierson, one sister and three brothers.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mrs.Lottie Hall of Brooklyn; a brother, Dr. Glenn H. Hall of New Jersey; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Crider of Temple City, Calif., and Mrs. Helen Berry of Marshalltown; two grandchildren, David Hall of Brooklyn and Mrs. Linda Smith of Newton; and one great-granddaughter, Tracy.
