ORVILLE NEVILLE RITES WEDNESDAY

Orville C. Neville, 82, rural Malcom, died Sunday morning, June 7 at his home of a heart condition.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, June 10, at Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. William Schlobohm, pastor of Malcom-Sheridan Parish, officiating. Organist was Jo Ann Schneekloth. Pallbearers were George Baustian, Curtis Ferneau, Claire Hutchison, John Puls, Norman Schroeder and Richard Swanson. Honorary bearers were Ronald Baltisberger, Edward Barnes, Charles Goodrich, Walter Hanssen, Leo Kelm and Carroll Schafbauch. Burial was in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Malcom. Should friends desire memorials may be made to the Orville C. Neville Memorial Fund.

He was born May 18, 1905, the son of William and Cora Nutting Neville, on the family farm where he lived his entire life. He attended rural school near the family farm and later enrolled in a short course in agriculture at Iowa State University.

On Nov. 10, 1924, he was married to Marine Porter at the Baptist parsonage in Grinnell. Mr. and Mrs. Neville farmed in the Malcom area following their marriage.

He was a member of the Malcom Methodist Church, the National Angus Association for over 60 years and the Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife; three sons William Neville, Toledo, Darrell Neville, Tama, and Joseph Neville, Racine, Wis.; one daughter Joyce Ashby, Marshalltown; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son Wayne Neville; one daughter Jean Neville; one brother Rex Neville and two sisters Ina Hutchison and Martha Baustian.
