CONDUCT SERVICES AT MALCOM FOR CORA NEVILLE, 96

Cora A. Neville, 96, of Rte. 1, Malcom, died Saturday morning at a local hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held this afternoon (Monday) from the Malcom Methodist church with the Rev. James Reynolds officiating. Vocal music was provided by Mrs. Nellie Farley, accompanied by Mrs. Jo Ann Schneekloth at the organ.

Flower committee members were Mrs. Grant Heishman, Mrs. Phillip Lamb and Mrs. Ervin Schultz. Pallbearers were George Baustian, Clair Hutchison, William Neville, Wayne Neville, Darrell Neville and Joe Neville. Interment was in Ivy Hill cemetery at Malcom with James-Schalinske Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of Daniel W. and Ellen Gray Nutting, she was born on June 22nd, 1869, in Scott county near Davenport. When she was a few months old her family moved to the Malcom community and there she attended the rural schools. She was united in marriage with William Neville on Feb. 18th, 1890. They farmed in the Malcom community and since 1903 she had lived on their farm seven miles east of Grinnell.

She was a member of the Malcom Methodist church.

Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Ina Hutchison and Mrs. Martha Baustian, both of Malcom; her son, Orville Neville, also of Malcom; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Wilma Neville of Malcom.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, William on May 5th, 1942; a son, Rex, on June 21st, 1959; five brothers and two grandchildren.
