ED SANGER IS CALLED BY DEATH

Edward Daniel Sanger, son of Edward and Sara Sanger, was born July 4, 1862 at Oskaloosa, Iowa and passed away Sunday evening at St. Francis Hospital of heart trouble. He was 66 years and 7 months of age. Mr. Sanger was united in marriage with Lucinda Jane Hibbler, August 11, 1889, at Creston, Iowa. To this union three children were born, two sons and one daughter. They are, Fred Sanger, Leavenworth, Washington, Everett and Fern Sanger of Grinnell. Mr. Sanger has been a resident of Grinnell for twenty-four years, coming to Grinnell with his wife and family in 1904. He had been in poor health for the past two years. He was a kind and loving father and a loyal friend.

Funeral services were held at the Snyder Chapel on Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. George Blagg in charge. Appropriate hymns were sung by Mrs. Chas. Laros and Mrs. Roscoe Dempster. The pall bearers were old friends of the deceased, Mr. George Turner of Gilman, Ralph Elliot, Charles Cratty, Arthur Squires, C.L. McNally, and F.J. Peterson.
