MICHAEL BOLEN IS DROWNING VICTIM

Funeral services for Michael Bolen, 66, of Tama will be Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Mason Funeral Home in Tama with burial in the Sheridan cemetery.

Bolen's body was discovered Monday in several feet of water near the paper mill at Tama. Investigating authorities reported that he died Saturday after falling from a foot bridge. Cause of death was reported as drowning.

Born near Brooklyn, he was the son of the late William and Sylvia Bolen. He is survived by two daughters, a son, and two brothers, Gerald and Verner, both of Grinnell.
