MRS. BESSIE LAROS GRUVER PASSES AWAY

Former Grinnell Girl Dies in Allentown, Pa.

Sad news comes to many Grinnell friends in the announcement of the death of Mrs. Bessie Laros Gruver, wife of Ellsworth Gruver, who passed away at her home in Allentwon, Pa., last Tuesday, after a long illness from Bright's disease. Mrs. Gruver was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Laros, for many years respected residents of Grinnell and grew to young womanhood here. She was a graduate of Grinnell high school. For the past eighteen years she has resided in Allentown.

Besides her husband she leaves three children, Gerald, Miles and Betty, at home, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Kirk Gibbs of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Mrs. Fred Lorish and Mrs. Charles Freyman of Allentown, Pa.; Mrs. Ray Goodrich of Maywood, Ill.; Mrs. Karl Kline of Sacramento, Cal.; Fred and Gus Laros of Hart, Mich.; Gerald of Cincinnatti, O.; John of Long Beach, Calif., and Charles of Grinnell.

Services in Dubbs Memorial Reformed church at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 3.
