HELEN MILLER RITES TUESDAY

Helen Marie Miller, 69, of Prairie City, a native of Grinnell, died Friday, Nov. 11, at Embassy Manor Care Center in Newton.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton, with the Rev. N. Busker of the First Reformed Church of Prairie City officiating. Burial was in Newton Union Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 16, 1915, in Grinnell, the daughter of Earl and Lulu Belle Tennant Belcher. She was married to Walter M. Miller Nov. 25, 1935, in Grinnell. They moved to Prairie City in 1952.

Mrs. Miller is survived by three sons, Walter of Newton, Ronald of Monroe and Glenn of Colfax; one brother, Earl Belcher of Des Moines; and four sisters, Arline Beason of Evansdale, Georgia Diehm of Grinnell, MAry Mart of Prairie City and Armetta Moose of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
