EARL BELCHER

Earl M. Belcher, 67, died of lung cancer Thursday, Nov. 25, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Hamilton's Funeral Home with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

He was born in Grinnell and lived in Des Moines most of his life, retiring after serving as a member of the maintenanace department of the Des Moines Register. He was a member of the Service Employees International Union.

Survivors include his wife Mary Belle; one daughter Kimberly Cherry, Des Moines; three sons, John Ander and Eric Ander, Des Moines, and Fred Cosler, Ankeny; three sisters Armeta Moose, Des Moines, Georgia Diehm, Grinnell, and Arline Beason, Evansdale, and eight grandchildren.
