FORREST BELCHER

Forrest P. Belcher, 68, of Des Moines, formerly of Grinnell, died of a heart attack Tuesday, May 15, at Broadlawns Medical Center.

Funeral services were conducted Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial in Westfield Cemetery, Grinnell.

Mr. Belcher had been a Des Moines resident for 45 years. He was a retired foreman for Lennox Industries and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are his wife, Corrine; three daughters, Carolyn Bragg of Murray, Claudett Koehler of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dawn Belcher of Des Moines; three sons, Paul of Suisun, Calif., Max of Fort Worth, Texas, and Scott of Des Moines; two sisters, Dolly Wilson and Florence Symington, both of Grinnell; three brothers, Clayton of Phoenix, Ariz., and William and Jasper, both of Grinnell; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
