AMY GROSS FUNERAL RITES HELD TODAY

Funeral services were scheduled this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Smith funeral home for Amy Lillian Gross, 47, who died at a local hospital Friday.

The Rev. Fred Fish, minister of the Christian church, officiated. Burial was in Hazelwood cemetery.

The daughter of Samuel F. Miller and Carrie Hayes Miller, she was born Aug. 2, 1909, in Sheridan township. She was married March 22, 1931, in Chester township to Clarence Edward Gross. Her husband preceded her in death in 1952.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Gloria) Perry, of Chester, Neb., and four sons, Richard, Ronald, Roland, and David, of the home.

Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Smith of Brooklyn, Perry Miller of Beaman, Mrs. Edward (Evelyn) Peak, Gilman, Robert Miller of Hampton and Willis Miller of Ashland.

Music was provided by Mrs. Don Thompson and Mrs. Roy Mushrush. Pallbearers were Jonas Hendrickson, James Lang, Russell Lang, Don Larsen, Virgil Palmer, and Doyle Weaver. Flower bearers were Mrs. William Esler and Mrs. Jonas Hendrickson.
