TRUMAN LYNCH SERVICES SET

Truman A. Lynch, 62, of 3001 Cedar Ave., Apple Valley, Minn., died Tuesday morning at his home of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Lynch, formerly of Grinnell, was dead on arrival at an Apple Valley clinic.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home here, with the Rev. L.P. Fitzpatrick of the Malcom/Sheridan parish of the Untied Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Sheridan Cemetery.

The son of William Thomas and Josie E. Badger Lynch, he was born April 18, 1917, in Sheridan Township. He was graduated from Grinnell High School in 1935. On April 15, 1939, he was married to Gilma Slagle of Bethany, Mo.

Mr. Lynch served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an electrical engineer for 37 years with the Williams Bros. Pipeline Co.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynch had lived in Grinnell and Oxford until 1954 when they moved to Minnesota. They lived in Apple Valley since 1965. He was a member of the Canopy Masonic Lodge at Oxford.

Survivors include his wife, Gilma; a son, Thomas Lynch of Apple Valley; and a brother, Lyle Lynch of State Center.
