MARCENE CLEMENTS RITES HELD DEC. 13

Marcene Clements, 51, of 204 N. 14th St., Marshalltown, died at Marshalltown Area Community Hospital East Dec. 9, where she had been a patient for a month.

She was born April 25, 1920, in Grinnell, the daughter of Clarence and Maude Wisecarver Clements. She attended the Grinnell and Marshalltown schools. She was employed at the Bee Hive Nursery. Miss Clements was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Maude Clements of Marshalltown; one brother, Max Clements of Marshalltown; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services for Miss Clements were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at the chapel of the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. James K. Delahooke, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery, Grinnell.

Pallbearers included Steve White, Elmer Burnson, DeWayne Fickess, James Wisecarver, Charles Burnham and Gary Isaacson.
