ADAH O. FRY RITES TODAY

Adah O. Fry, 87, a former resident of the Grinnell and Blue Point communities, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Aurora, Colo., following a brief illness.

She was born April 12, 1887, at Blue Point and received her education in the Grinnell schools and at Des Moines Bible College. She was married to William Wallace Fry in 1914 at Grinnell, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1958. The couple had lived in Colorado since 1929, moving there from Eddyville. Mrs. Fry was a member of the W.C.T.U. and Loyalty Bible Class of the United Presbyterian Church of Aurora.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Inza Folson of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Priddy of Aurora; her grandchildren, James Folson and Sydney McCoskey, both of Denver, Judie Hollenbeck of Golden, Colo., and David Folsom of Long Prairie, Minn.; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Delmar, who died in 1933; her parents; two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fry were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Monday) at the James-Schalinske Funeral Home, with the Rev. Daniel Ogata officiating. Organist was Julia Pearce, and pallbearers were Sid Gustafson, Ellis Brown, Raymond Bangham, Delmar Stewart, Harold Edgington and Verl Garwood.
