RITES HELD FOR AGNES PRIDDY

Agnes Nayler Priddy, 88, of Aurora, Colo., died Friday in that community.

Graveside services for Mrs. Priddy were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lower Blue Point Cemetery south of Grinnell. The Rev. Daniel Ogata, pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church, officiated.

The daughter of William H. and Mary Sarah Vestal Nayler, she was born July 26, 1889, in Washington Township, Poweshiek County. She attended rural schools near her home and was graduated from Grinnell High School. She later attended Grinnell College.

Following her formal education, she taught in rural schools in the Grinnell area.

During World War I, she moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked as a civil service secretary. She was married to Master Sgt. Charles Priddy at Washington.

Following their marriage, the couple moved to Urbana, Ill. They later moved to Aurora.

There are no immediate survivors. Mrs. Priddy was preceded in death by her husband in 1955; her parents, and four brothers and two sisters, including Claude Nayler and Ada Fry.
