DEBORAH ISKE

Deborah Iske, 55, of Glenwood died Monday Oct. 20, 2008, at Jenny Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs.

A prayer and committal service will be held Friday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. at Hazelwood Cemetery with John Epperson, pastor of Grinnell Christian Church, officiating. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

She was born Feb. 13, 1953, in Grinnell to Kenneth and Maxine Esler Iske. She attended the special needs program in the Grinnell Community Schools and later moved to the Glenwood Resource Center in Glenwood.

She enjoyed visits and telephone calls from her family, and treasured her red purse, Barbie Doll and Winnie the Pooh jewelry.

She is survived by her mother, Maxine Iske of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her father and four sisters, Linda Simpson, Diane, Marilyn and Luanne Iske.
