MABEL THARP

Mabel Tharp, 102, of Grinnell died Sunday, Oct. 23, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct 28, at Prairie View Cemetery in Gilman. Visitation hours will be held from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Smith Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening.

She is survived by her daughters, Ila Jean Winchell of Troy, Kan., and Shirley Latham of Grinnell; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
