LUCILLE OSTROM SERVICES HELD MON, NOV. 15

Lucille Myers, daughter of John and Anna Myers, was born Oct. 3, 1899 at Cedars Rapids. She received her education in the Cedar Rapids schools.

On April 5, 1920, she was united in marriage to Julious Dusterhoft. After their marriage they farmed northwest of Ladora for a few years, moved to Ladora, and later moved to Victor where Mr. Dusterhoft passed away Sept. 4, 1947.

In May, 1948, she was united in marriage to Ray Ostrom of Hartwick where they made their home until the time of her death.

Mrs. Ostrom's health had been failing the past five months. She had surgery in the Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids last June. She entered the Marengo Memorial hospital Oct. 29 and passed away there Saturday, Nov. 13, at 1 a.m. at the age of 66 years, one month and 10 days.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Ray; one brother, John Myers of Belle Plaine; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Funeral services were held from the McAninch Chapel on Monday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. with Rev. R. Cutbirth officiating.

Two organ solos, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Going Home" were played by Louise Korns.

Flowers were cared for by Mr. and Mrs. George Williams.

Casket bearers were Fred Bees, Chester Simpson, Kenneth Rhinehart, Cecil Roberts, Adolph Chvala, Howard Olson, with burial in the Hartwick cemetery.
