FUNERAL RITES FOR FREDERICK FARMER ARE HELD SUNDAY

Funeral services for Frederick Farmer of Malcom, who passed away Friday evening at the home of Mrs. E.W. T. Peterson, were held at two o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Ross Funeral Home. Rev. E.P. Spurlock, minister of the Methodist church of Malcom was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Ivy Hill cemetery at Malcom.

Besides his widow, he is survived by one brother, Irvan Farmer of Union Mills.

Mr. Farmer, years ago, lived in Grinnell and was at one time employed by Miller and Rich in the ice business. Later he worked in Montezuma for A.G. Fett as a meat cutter. For the past few years he had made his home in Malcom.
