BECKY ANN BUFFUM

Becky Ann Buffum, 51, of Grinnell died Sunday, Dec. 30, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.

A memorial luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Grinnell Eagles Lodge.

Her body was cremated, and burial will be at a later date. The Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was the daughter of Joseph W. and Gladys Slagle Buffum and was born Feb. 21, 1950, in Grinnell. She was a 1968 graduate of Grinnell High School and attended AIB in Des Moines in 1969.

She was employed at Miracle Recreation Equipment Co. from 1971 to 1983. In 1983, she became co-owner with her brother, Jim, of the Bowladrome in Grinnell. She was a member of the Grinnell Eagles Auxiliary.

Surviving are her brother and two sisters, Sue Buffum and Linda Kingsley, both of Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Gary; and one sister, Betty Jo Buffum.

A Becky Ann Buffum Memorial Fund has been established.
