RITES HELD FOR MR. WILLISON

Leotus V. Willison, 88, of Jacksonville, Ill., formerly of Poweshiek County, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Passavant Hospital at Jacksonville.

Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell, with the Rev. Gary Smith of the Oskaloosa Church of the Nazarene officiating. The Watts Funeral Home of Montezuma was in charge of arrangements.

The son of James William and Lucretia Ellen Henderson Willison, he was born on July 5, 1897, near Yankee Point, Ill.

He was married to Thelma Richards in Grinnell. They farmed north of Montezuma for several years, moving to Grinnell in 1974.

Mr. Willison was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Oskaloosa. While farming, he was a member of the Farm Bureau and had served on the board of directors of the Malcom Co-op.

There are no immediate survivors. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and nine brothers and sisters.
