DANIEL HORAK

Daniel Horak, one of the old and respected residents of Grinnell, died very suddenly on Monday morning at his home in northwest Grinnell. He had arisen apparently in his usual health and was preparing to help his wife with the washing. About 6 o'clock he stepped outside to get some coal. He did not return as soon as expected and when search was made for him his body was found lying on the sidewalk just outside the house. Death had come intantaneously and without warning. Mr. Horak was aged 72 years, 2 months and 13 days. The funeral will be held from the residence at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
