HOUVENAGLE RITES HELD

Ellen E. Houvenagle, 93, of Fountain West Health Center, West Des Moines, formerly of Grinnell, died of a heart attack Friday, March 22, at the center.

Graveside services were conducted Wendesday at Hazelwood Cemetery.

A native of Putnam, Ill., she had lived in Des Moines since 1942. Mrs. Houvenagle was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge No. 119 in Grinnell and Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by two sisters, Nellie McCoy of Des Moines and Lillian Meiller of Madison, Wis.
