Here he spent the remainder of his life with the exception of a few years of pioneer life in South Dakota. Mr. Viets leaves a family of a wife, a son Henry L. and a daughter, Sara E.

A sister, Mrs. Sara V. Clarke came from Ashland Wis. to attend the funeral. She and another sister, Mrs. (He??) Fairchild of Brooklyn, N.Y. are the only remaining members of the father's family. Two grandchildren, Louise and Henry, known in the family as Henry (???) represent the next generation.
