MRS. HARRY VIETS, FORMER RESIDENT, DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Old-time Grinnell friends have received word of the death of a well-known former resident, Mrs. Harry Viets, at Long Beach, Calif., June 30.

The deceased's husband was for many years a Grinnell druggist, though Mrs. Viets had lived in California for many years.

The California funeral services were held at Long Beach, July 3, followed by cremation.

Mrs. Viets' son, Henry Viets, is coming to Grinnell this (Thursday) evening, July 15, and arrangements are being made for graveside services, Friday, July 16, at Hazelwood cemetery.

Louise Viets Frisbie of Long Beach is a daughter of the deceased.
