RITES HELD FOR MRS. REDIGER

Kathryn Rediger, 66, of Oakland Acres died Saturday evening at Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier in Dyersville, with burial at St. Francis Cemetery there.

The daughter of Martin and Nellie Green, she was born Aug. 11, 1911, at York, Neb. She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Bloomington, Ill.

She was married to W.R. (Rex) Rediger, who preceded her in death in 1966.

Mrs. Rediger and her husband moved to Grinnell in 1961. She served as supervisor of the Hunter addition to Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton prior to her illness. She also served as a member of the Oakland Acres City Council. Mrs. Rediger was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church here.

Survivors include two sons, William of Dyersville and Michael of Marshalltown; two daughters, Mrs. David Ashburn of Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., and Elizabeth Rediger of Iowa City; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Eileen McClelland of Ft. Collins, Colo., Doris Green of Toulan, Ill,. and Patricia Doebel of Urbana, Ill.
