SERVICES PENDING FOR MRS. DUNTON

Mrs. Jo Ahrens Dunton, age 50, passed away Monday morning at a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

The daughter of John W. and Mary B. Badger Ahrens, she was born on March 13, 1917, at Grinnell. She attended the Grinnell public schools and was a graduate of the High School. She has lived in Grinnell all her life, but since last December she has made her home in Phoenix.

She is survived by her daughter Cathy (Mrs. Ron) Rowlands of Phoenix, Ariz.; her son David Palmer of St. John, Canada; two granddaughters; her brothers, John of Montezuma, Claude, Carl and Donald all of Grinnell; her sisters, Elizabeth Fanton of Gilman, Katherine Cummings of Grinnell, Mary Muckler of Laurel, Ia., Esther (Mrs. Laird) Wray of Grinnell and Billie (Mrs. John) Nolan of Niles, Mich.

Funeral services at this time are pending at the James-Schalinske Funeral Home.
