LEORA LIPPINCOTT

Leora Fogel Lippincott, daughter of Lena Fogel of Malcom, was born Feb. 1, 1916, at Malcom and died at Community hospital Nov. 11, 1962.

She grew up in the Malcom community and graduated from Malcom High School in 1933. She was married June 5, 1934, to Howard F. Lippincott and one daughter was born to the couple.

Following her husband's death in 1960, she moved to Grinnell where she had been employed as a nurses aid at Community hospital. She was a member of the Malcom Presbyterian church.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Edward (Sandra) Haugen of Victor, a grandson and her mother.

Funeral services were held November 13 at the James-Schalinske funeral home in Grinnell with the Rev. G.H. Hulsebus of Brooklyn officiating. Organist was Mrs. Kathleen Heffner. Interment was in Ivy Hill cemetery at Malcom with Raymond Puls, James Puls, George Baustian, Lester Smith, Dean Lippincott and Dale Lippincott serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Ray Cummings and Mrs. Nelllie Farley were in charge of flowers.
