DEATH OF JOHN DOUGHERTY

Respected Citizen of County Passes Away--Had Son in German Prison Camp.

Mr. and Mrs. R. Shedenhelm of this city were called to Guernsey Oct. 18 to attend the funeral of John Dougherty, Mrs. Shedenhelm's brother. Mr. Dougherty was a well known citizen of Lincoln township, of an old and respected family. His age was 59 years. Mrs. Dougherty died a few years ago.

Four children survive the father,one of whom, Frank, is now in a German prison camp. The relatives have received but one letter from Frank since his capture.
