VIOLET KRUMM RITES PENDING

Violet Krumm, 54, of 1206 Prairie St., Grinnell, died Saturday evening at Grinnell General Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Krumm are pending, and friends may call the Smith Funeral Home for additional information.

The daughter of Walter and Bertha Alma Hakeman Ruble she was born March 10, 1923, in Hartwick. She later moved with her family to Grinnell and attended Grinnell schools. She served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Mrs. Krumm was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Pythian Sisters.

She is survived by four children, Patricia Krumm and Vickie Meyers, both of Des Moines, and Richard and Gregory Krumm, both of Grinnell; two grandchildren; one brother, Oscar Ruble of Los Angeles, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. Viola Armstrong and Mrs. Mary Ashby, both of Grinnell, and Mrs. Phyllis Collier of Penryn, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mrs. Maxine Dietrich.

VIOLET KRUMM SERVICES HELD

Memorial services for Violet I. Krumm, 54, of Grinnell, who died Saturday at Grinnell General Hospital, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Grinnell United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Carl Klein, pastor of the Kellogg United Methodist Church, officiated. Organist was Kathleen Heffner.

Following cremation, Mrs. Krumm's ashes were buried at the Westfield Cemetery.

Should friends desire, memorials in Mrs. Krumm's name may be made to Camp Sunnyside and may be left at the Smith Funeral Home.
