LOUISE WEBER

Louise Weber, 82, of Grinnell died Thursday, April 1, at Friendship Manor.

A funeral service was held Monday, April 5, at Smith Funeral Home. Interment was in Hazelwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Louise Weber Memorial Fund.

She was the daughter of John and Catherine Frost Clifford, born on Dec. 17, 1921, in Des Moines. She was raised and educated in Grinnell.

On Feb. 18, 1960, she married Paul A. Weber in Waterloo. The couple lived in Grinnell and enjoyed camping together. Friends and family also described her as a great cook, and as one who enjoyed listening to her husband play bluegrass music. She also kept an immaculate home, they said, and loved spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren when they visited.

She is survived by her husband; her son, Dennis Fleener of Grinnell; her daughter, Kathryn Gould of Grinnell; her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Leona Rice and Esther Brown; and one brother, Edwin Clifford.
