W.E. HUTCHISON IS SUMMONDED

Longtime Resident Passes Away Tuesday Evening, aged 68 Years.

FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

Mr. Hutchison Had Lived In Grinnell Over Twenty Years--Was an Odd Fellow 25 Years.

Willis Elsworth Hutchison was born March 15, 1862, near Ladora, Ia., the son of Hamilton and Julia Hutchison, and passed away at Grinnell, Ia., Sept. 30th, 1930, at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 15 days.

He grew to manhood at Ladora, and was united in marriage to Zula C. Larimore, Sept. 18th, 1881. To this union were born twelve children, ten of whom survive him, two having preceded him in death. He was been a resident of Grinnell for over twenty years, and at the time of his death was employed at the Blue Line Transfer Co. He has been a member of the Odd Fellow lodge for more than 25 years. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, ten children, Mrs. C.F. Wright of Marshalltown, Mrs. Leo Gregson of Luverne, Lottie Hutchison of Grinnell, Ray Hutchison of Mitchellville, Herbert Hutchison of Grinnell, Carl Hutchison of Grinnell, Mrs. Zula Weakley of West Liberty, Mrs. J.H. Peters of Grinnell, Arthur Hutchison of Oklahoma City, and Mildred Hutchison of Grinnell; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, R.S. of Omaha, Neb., and J.L. of Oakland, Calif.; besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the Baptist church yesterday afternoon conducted by Rev. William Welsh. Burial was in the Ohio cemetery, four miles south of Ladora and brief grave side services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Welsh.

Pallbearers were four sons, Herbert, Carl, Ray and Arthur; and three sons-in-law, John Peters, Leo Gregson and Charles Wright.
