--Died, in Grinnell, June 21, Anna Emeline Quivey, in the 64th year of her age. The funeral services were held at the family residence June 22d, the services being conducted by her pastor, Geo. M. Adams, assisted by her former pastor, Rev. T. Brande. The deceased was a highly esteemed and useful member of the Baptist church with which she united early in life in Hamlin, N.J. She was married to Linus Quivey in 1856. Seven children were the fruit of this union, two of whom are dead, May, a daughter, and David the oldest son. Five remain, Mrs. J.C. Powell, Berlin and George Quivey and two unmarried daughters, Alta and Jessie. She leaves one sister, Mrs. C.W. Shacklady of Troy, New York, and three brothers--Paul Himes of Brockport, New York, Alfred Himes and Henry Himes, both of Sierraville, California. Their numerous friends tender them their prayer and sympathy in this hour of their affliction. A very large company attended the funeral service, attesting the esteem in which the loved woman was held, over sixty teams being joined in the march to her final resting place.
