OBITUARY OF THE LATE MRS. C.E. BONYATA

Rachel Mayne was born Feb. 12, 1877 at St. Louis, Mo. and died Nov. 4, 1938 at Grinnell at the age of 61 years, eight months and 22 days.

She came to Grinnell with her family in 1884 at the age of seven and lived here for the remainer of her life. She attended the Grinnell public schools and on Aug. 29, 1899, she married Chas. E. Bonyata.

Her two children, Harriett of Chicago and Alfred of Grinnell, and her mother, Mrs. A. Mehlin also survive her. She leaves four grandchildren.

She was a member of Eastern Star, the White Shrine and the Rest and Recreation club, the members of which were present at the funeral in a body.

She and her family united with the Congregational church in 1915.
