WILLIS RAYL

Willis Rayl, 78, of Canaan, Conn., formerly of Grinnell, died May 14 in Hartford, Conn.

A memorial will be held at a later date in Canaan.

The son of Delbert and Ione Rayl, he was a graduate of Grinnell High School and the University of Iowa with a degree in mathematics and also attended the Julliard School of Music in New York. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict.

He is survived by one sister Dotty Hall of Brooklyn and one brother Kenneth Rayl of Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Jenna, l.
