LUCILLE B. ROTEN

Lucille B. Roten, 89, of Grinnell died of Alzheimer's disease Tuesday, May 28, at the Mayflower.

The body was cremated, and no services were held. Burial of the ashes was at Stewart Cemetery in rural New Sharon, with the Ankeny Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was born in Sugar Creek Township, Poweshiek County. She lived in Des Moines; Wichita, Kan.; Lake Kabetogama Ray, Minn.; and Searsboro prior to moving to Grinnell in 1990.

She had owned and operated a resort at Lake Kabetogama Ray, retiring in 1974.

Surviving are one son, James P. Scott of Omaha, Neb.; one sister, Maxine Tarman of Ames; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Amos P. Scott, and her second husband, Roy E. Roten.
