FLEENER FUNERAL HELD SUNDAY
Funeral services were held at New Sharon Sunday for Harrison R. Fleener, 79, prominent Searsboro area farmer who died Nov.10 at an Oskaloosa hospital.
Officiating at the services was the Rev. Jerry Brown. Burial was in Stewart cemetery near New Sharon.
The son of Michael and Alice Stanley Fleener, he is survived by his wife, Bessie; four daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Ione) Rayl of Searsboro, Mrs. Wayne (Maxine) Tarman of Ames, Mrs. Roy (Lucille) Roten of Roy, Minn., and Mrs. Leo (Marian) Mitchell of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Cline of Cushing, Okla.; and Mrs. Ada Gunderson of Grinnell; and three brothers, Clair of New Sharon, Maurice of Searsboro and Lowell of Ottumwa.
