BONNIE DUNCAN SERVICES SET

Bonnie C. Duncan, 40, of 504 First Ave., Grinnell, died Saturday morning. She was pronounced dead on arrival at Grinnell General Hospital. Investigation into the cause of death is continuing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Duncan will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. John W. McCallum, pastor of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.

Should friends desire, memorials in Mrs. Duncan's name may be left at the Smith Funeral Home.

The daughter of Cassius and Belva Johnson Parmley, she was born April 22, 1935, in Grinnell. She attended schools in Grinnell and lived here all of her life.

On Feb. 4, 1956, she was married to John Neal Duncan at Des Moines. She was a member of the Grinnell United Methodist Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by four children, Brian Stanley Duncan of Marshalltown, Spec. 4 Calvin Parmley Duncan with the U.S. Army in Anchorage, Alaska, John Neal Duncan II of Rte. 2, Grinnell, and Susan Colene Duncan of the family home; two grandsons; and her mother, Mrs. Belva Parmley of Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1972, her father, and two sisters, Mrs. William (Marilyn) Hayes in 1972 and Doris Jean Parmley who died in infancy.
